I’m Kelly, an internal communications professional focused on helping employees connect with the programs and priorities that shape their experience at work.
I love taking information that's complex or detailed and finding a way to make it clear, relatable and useful.
Most of my work happens inside HR, partnering with people leaders, subject matter experts and executives to understand what matters most to employees, why it matters and how to say it in a way that resonates. I've written for a global workforce of more than 12,000 employees, from enterprise campaigns and executive messaging to intranet content and video.
Writing is one of my favorite parts of the work, but I'm equally interested in the strategy behind it. I like thinking through the audience, timing, channel and bigger communication plan, then making sure the final message still feels clear, relatable and human.
I want communications to do more than simply share information. I want people to understand what matters, why it matters and feel more connected to the experience they're part of.
